The refurbished ryokan is lovely and clean, with access to a communal kitchen. The owner is generous and eager to teach guests about Japanese living. The location is close to supermarkets and important attractions. The staff is friendly and the bed in the dorm room was very comfortable. The attention to detail in the renovated traditional Japanese house is outstanding.
